Save the date (yes, for 2027):
The 7th preCICE Workshop will be held for the first time outside Germany at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, on March 1–5, 2027. It is co-organized by Matthias Möller and his team from the Numerical Analysis group and the G+Smo community, with special focus on coupling to solvers based on Isogeometric Analysis (IGA).

This March, join us in Stuttgart for the #deRSE26 conference:
The detailed schedule of the preCICE workshop 2025 is now out and includes:
- 12h of hands-on training,
- 12 talks,
- 12 posters,
- a World Café,
- user support, and
- several more networking opportunities.
Registration is still open till July 15. Read more:
Get the hands-on training you needed to start coupling your own simulations, show your research, or shape the future of preCICE in the upcoming preCICE Workshop:
Testing scientific software? Check how we solve several challenges in the system tests of preCICE in the now published post-proceedings of the deRSE24:

You will read there a bit about Docker (compose, multi-stage builds), fieldcompare, Git LFS, and GitHub Actions.
We have some updates regarding our ecosystem standardization:
We are now also on Bluesky, and we plan to be equally (and hopefully more than currently) active in both platforms: https://bsky.app/profile/precice.org
Any suggestions on how to coordinate both at the same time?
Registration for the preCICE Workshop (September 24-27, Stuttgart) is now open: https://precice.org/precice-workshop-2024.html
Profit from early registration deadline until July 15. You can still submit a short abstract for a talk or poster until June 30.
As always, expect a training course for new users, user and developer talks, and interactive formats such as a world café and now also a poster session.
Did you always want to couple to FMI models or to a swarm of micro-simulations? Did you patiently wait for an updated SU2 adapter?
Time to celebrate! Find these and much more, including preCICE v3, in the preCICE Distribution v2404:
